We spent several months this year hunting for thistle buttons, afterall we had to do something to entertain ourselves during ‘Droughtlander’. Our most fabulous finds were the three sterling silver Art Nouveau beauties featured in this piece. Each of these amazing thistle buttons is hallmarked, which means there are markings stamped on the button that certify it’s purity and place of origin. These buttons were very valuable in their time and would have been sold as a set in a late nineteenth century jewelers shop or haberdashery.
As this piece is a limited edition, you’ll receive the exact buttons you see in the image (while they last).
