Jenny Davidson’s is the delightful, vaguely British voice you occasionally hear when calling our office. She grew up on South Africa, born to Scottish parents who immigrated there in the 1950s.  In her late teens she fell in love with a Louisiana-born Marine stationed at the American Embassy in Johannesburg.  They eventually married and moved to St. Francisville and to raise their family.  Their older daughter, Kimberly, recently gave birth to grandson Kyle, making Jenny the second grandmother of Grandmother’s Buttons!  Jessica, their younger daughter, is beginning her freshman year at Johns Hopkins, where she was awarded a scholarship to study molecular biology.  Their youngest, Kyle, is in high school and enjoys hunting and fishing in our rural hills and lakes.

Jenny creates the kits from which we make all of our jewelry pieces and is also in charge of quality control.  She is another tiny woman of amazing talents, equally skilled at carpentry and crocheting, the use of power tools and baking delectable tins of Scottish shortbread!
