Victorian women accented their sumptuous gowns with stamped brass picture buttons depicting almost every possible motif: images taken from novels, operettas, mythology, architecture, natural history, travel and more. This finely detailed brass button dates from 1880-1900, and would have been worn by the dozens on a gown. This lovely button will be hung from the small vault necklace pictured above. Necklace measures 20-24 inches in length. A vault card will be enclosed containing your button description and authenticity.
