HOW TO SEND US YOUR PICTURES
Scan your photos and email them as attachments to: art@grandmothersbuttons.com

• the image must be at least 300 dpi
• acceptable formats are JPEG or TIFF
• be sure to put your tracking number (your phone number) in the body of your email

IF YOU ARE SENDING ORIGINAL PHOTOS, we recommend that you use a method that can be tracked, such as UPS, FedEx or registered mail through the Postal Service. While we use extreme care with your photographs, we cannot be held responsible if they are lost by a 3rd party in transit.

IF YOUR PHOTOS ARE EXTREMELY VALUABLE AND IRREPLACEABLE, you may want to send a digital photographic copy, which can be done quite easily and inexpensively at places like WalMart. Scanning and printing your photos on an ink jet printer will not work.

LABEL THE BACKS OF YOUR PHOTOS CAREFULLY with your name, the name of the person photographed, and their position on the bracelet. For instance: Jane Doe, Adam, charm 1; Jane Doe, Ben, charm 2; Jane Doe, Samantha, charm 3. It is best to write these things on a mailing label or a piece of tape and then apply it to the back of the photo (ball point pens used on the back of a photo can damage it).

BE SURE to place a sturdy piece of cardboard in the envelop with your photos to protect them from bending.

YOU CAN ALSO SEND DIGITAL PHOTOS on a cd through the mail; write your name & order tracking number (phone number) on the cd, and name each photo file as shown above.
